For the past 4 days I have been drinking 80oz of water per day. Whenever I get down to my desired weight I will go down to 64oz per day. I also drink 2 cups of vegetable juice per day to make sure I get in my veggie intake, I also run 3 miles a day. I do allow myself 1 cheat sweet a day because I'm doing good to be drinking water; because to me water taste awful. I also keep a positive attitude through out the day and I don't stress over anything. That is where many people hinder themselves from losing weight.......stress. Stay prayed up, ya!! Karen

Good!! Now I can drink water and I love Distilled water! That taste really well but the hard part for me is commiting myself to the gym or going outside to walk/run! Once I can get over it then I guess I will be fine. I think I may need an MP3 player and then when I walk or run I wont feel like I am working out! Its def a lifestyle change. Please keep us updated on your progress!

Ok! I am really on my weightloss kick! I have been working out 5 times a week. Straight Cardio. During the week I may do pilates, yoga, or belly dancing! Whew this will whip you into shape. I have been drinking nothing but water. I actually found a juice at Aldi called Fit and Active and it has 0 calories, 0 sugar, and 0 carbs. It taste ok! It has nothing in it so I decided to try one today! I was pretty good. My goal is to be a 7 by April! I am working hard on doing so!!!! When I get hungry I started eating fruit instead of chips, crackers, fried chicken and I can see my stomack slimming down! I purchased 2 pair of pants that I couldnt fit into and now they fit me to the T. Thats great but I still have a long way to go! I am determined to change my lifestyle and I want to do this right! For me its mental not really physical. When I am at the gym I have to say to myself I have to burn this fat and within 30min I have burned 330 calories off me!!!! Very excited. I am very very determined to lose this weight and keep it off. I would encourage anyone who wants to change their life and lifestyle start working on your mental because with mental you can get physical!

So has it worked yet antoinette? was it expensive? have you tried the diet that is used at the hospital-or are you gonna pass on that one. I too have committed myself to drinking 1qt of water- if not more per day. This week I plan to kick up my work out routine- in high gear. I can taste my size 12- for right now. I plan to get there by June of this year. Im getting ready for the beach and running with my kids. Good luck to all my fabulous ladies. If anyone else has something that has worked be sure to share the wealth!!

Well Taebo did work! I stopped after day 3 because of my work schedule but I am def on it. I worked out today and I will do it tomorrow. I am noticing especially in my clothes that I am losing weight. Clothes that I couldnt wear I can now wear and thats a great thing. I have been eating a lot better and I love grapefruits and I eat at least 3 a day. I heard that breaks down fat but I am not sure. I think its a combination of working out, drinking water, and eating right that is def attributing to my weighloss! I am excited and I can smell my size 7 next month!

I decided to go back to Atkins! I am eating less than 20 carbs a day for 2 weeks. I will continue to work out but I am the type of person I want to see results fast! I still will count my calories but I know atkins does work and I have a picture of me at a size 4 and I want to look like that again! That is my motivation!

For those who are on the Atkins Diet here is the introduction!

Rules of Atkins Induction Phase are simple, and must be followed exactly:

1. Atkins induction phase meal plan requires the Atkins dieter to eat three regular-size meals a day, or four or five smaller meals. Do not skip meals or go more than six waking hours without eating.

2. Eat liberally of combinations of fat and protein in the form of poultry, fish, shellfish, eggs, and red meat, as well as pure, natural fat in the form of butter, mayonnaise, olive oil, safflower, sunflower and other vegetable oils (preferably expeller-pressed or cold-pressed).

3. Eat no more than 20 grams a day of carbohydrate, most of which must come in the form of salad greens and other vegetables. You can eat approximately three loosely packed cups of salad, or two cups of salad plus one cup of other vegetables.

4. The following Atkins diet food are not permitted on Atkins diet induction phase. Eat absolutely no fruits, bread, pasta, grains, starchy vegetables, or dairy products other than cheese, cream or butter. Do not eat nuts or seeds in the first two weeks. Foods that combine protein and carbohydrates, such as chickpeas, kidney beans and other legumes, are not permitted during atkins induction phase.

5. Avoid food that is not on the acceptable Atkins Diet food list.

6. Adjust the quantity you eat to suit your appetite, especially as it decreases. When you are hungry, eat the amount that makes you feel satisfied, but not stuffed. When you are not hungry, eat a small controlled carbohydrate snack to accompany your nutritional supplements.

7. Do not assume that any food is low in carbohydrate. Check the carb count with a Atkins carb counter.

8. Eat out as often as you wish but be on guard for hidden carbs in gravies, sauces, and dressings. Gravy is often made with flour or cornstarch, and sugar is sometimes an ingredient in salad dressing.

9. Avoid foods or drinks sweetened with aspartame. Instead, use sucralose or saccharin. Count each packet of any of these as 1 gram of carbs.

10. Avoid beverages such as coffee, tea, and soft drinks that contain caffeine. Excessive caffeine has been shown to cause low blood sugar, which can make you crave sugar.

11. Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water each day to hydrate your body, avoid constipation, and flush out the by-products of burning fat.

12. If you are constipated, mix a tablespoon or more of psyllium husk powder in a cup or more of water and drink daily. Alternatively, mix ground flaxseed into a shake or sprinkle wheat bran on a salad or vegetables.

13. While on Atkins induction phase take a good daily multivitamin with minerals, including potassium, magnesium, and calcium, but without iron.
